Long Box Kowhai Leaf - One Size

The kōwhai tree is one of Aotearoa’s most recognisable harbingers of light—arriving each year like a turning of the season itself. From winter’s quiet branches, it begins its transformation, unfolding clusters of golden flowers that seem to gather and hold the sun within them.

Its blooms hang delicately from slender stems, creating cascades of yellow that sway in the wind like suspended lanterns. In this brief but brilliant display, the kōwhai becomes a meeting place for tūī and bellbirds, whose movement and song bring the tree fully to life.
